With over 15 years of professional experience, working with 25 top ranking advertising agencies in the USA and Canada and bringing guidance and brand leadership direct to several companies, Darla is one of Canada’s most recognized brand strategy consultants. 


Starting her career in the USA and working on global brands on both sides of the border, she brings rich market insight to the brands she builds. Darla has helped unlock the power and potential in many leading brands including Wal-Mart (US and Canada), RBC, Holt Renfrew, ING Direct (Tangerine), Maple Leaf Foods, Cineplex and Expedia. She brings extensive experience across both B2C and B2B businesses.


With both a Honours Master’s degree in Brand Strategy & Advertising from the VCU Brandcenter in the U.S. and a Business degree in Marketing, her approach is anchored in proven fundamentals of brand and business strategy. Darla is the winner of the 4A’s Jay Chiat Planning Award – the industry’s highest award for strategic excellence.
